Foodbeast Family Dinner
Foodbeast's first fundraising event for Project Hope Alliance
In collaboration with Chef Linh Nguyen and my boss Geoff Kutnick, I helped bring this first-of-its-kind Foodbeast event to life. "Foodbeast Family Dinner" was a one-night-only, multi-course benefit dinner that raised funds for Project Hope Alliance (an Orange County-based nonprofit that provides services to homeless families) via proceeds from ticket purchases. The night was split into two evening sessions and tickets were $50 each. Melissa's Produce and Goose Island Beer Co. generously sponsored groceries and beer for the event.

The Grinderz Bird's Nest
Raising funds for homeless families with burgers
I spearheaded a partnership between Foodbeast and Grinderz that was built around their new 'Bird's Nest' Burger, from which a portion of proceeds would benefit Project Hope Alliance, an Orange County nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the cycle of homelessness, one child at a time. Both of Grinderz' locations (Costa Mesa and Huntington Beach) participated in the program. The burger itself went "viral" across social media and in turn raised significant funding for PHA.
Campaign highlights:

Slater's 50/50 Burger Pops
Foodbeast teams up with famous burger chain to fundraise for Project Hope Alliance
I led this campaign in which Foodbeast and two amazing brands worked together to fundraise for Project Hope Alliance: Slater's 50/50, and Elysian Brewing. Foodbeast and Slater's created the concept of "Burger Pops" to serve as Slater's "Burger of the Month" special in August of 2017. All month long, proceeds from customer purchases of this special would ultimately benefit PHA (with a maximum donation of $5,000). Elysian Brewing agreed to match Slater 50/50's overall donation.
Foodbeast supported the partnership through digital marketing and promotion via social media (video published on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Foodbeast.com + supporting editorial).
More Restaurant Rallies for Charity
Foodbeast works with Puesto, West Coast Fish, and Dos Chinos to give back
Between February 2017 through June 2017, three more restaurant brands would join Foodbeast's cause to fundraise for some amazing organizations: Puesto, West Coast Fish, and Dos Chinos.
Together, Puesto and Foodbeast developed the 'Panela en Verde Taco' from which a portion of proceeds would benefit Golden Rule Charity, who award grants that cover shelter, food, transportation, and/or medical expenses to service industry workers who find themselves in need of emergency funds.
Foodbeast teamed up with Dos Chinos and West Coast Fish to create "Fried Fish Fries" and the "Fried Soft Shell Crab Sandwich, respectively, to again benefit the Costa Mesa-based nonprofit, Project Hope Alliance.

Petals for Love
Personal project
I co-created a brand called 'Petals for Love,' working with my partner to develop three Petals for Love products from the ground up (formulation, packaging, website, etc). A portion of proceeds from each candle purchase was invested in female entrepreneurs from around the globe via the nonprofit KIVA.
